The Urban Ecology Center was, and still is, well equipped for survival. With small plots for growing crops, rain barrels for collecting water and space for many inhabitants, it has been used since the apocalypse as shelter for passing travelers. Some stay longer than others, but no one stays for good. This territory belongs to those holed up on the old college campus. It is close to the river, and some of the UEC's kayaks and canoes (in varied states of disrepair) can be found around the main building. It also directly borders the footpath leading towards downtown. A great place to stay the night if you're heading north from downtown.
